Join HACE to kick-off Hispanic Heritage Month 2023! Gain an overview on Latinos in the USA, our contributions to the economy and overall society, hear what employers should consider, and key action to take during HHM and all year-round. This event engages executives, ERG/BRG members, and community leaders in key regions of the United States in a moderated panel discussion on their strategies addressing the issues related to the Latino community. The theme of the event will continue to focus on our 2023 theme: HACE United: Accelerating Equity with Action and Accountability.
President and CEO
Patricia Mota is an innovative trailblazer, startup entrepreneur, connector, public speaker and compassionate leader with a particular strength that exemplifies the mission of the Hispanic Alliance of Career Enhancement (HACE) to positively impact the American workplace by cultivating the pipeline of Latinx/a/os talent and providing insight, access and support to their careers. Patricia serves as the President & CEO for HACE, leading strategy, fundraising & development, leadership programs, and expanding organizational reach on a national scale. Patricia’s story of transition is one that is representative of many of the stories of those positively impacted by programs and opportunities through HACE.
Social Entrepreneur
Claudia is a social entrepreneur, marketing expert, consultant, advocate, and catalyst for social change with more than 30 years of experience. She is a global mobilization expert, as well as a leader of inclusion focused on unifying the U.S. Hispanic community and promoting sustainability and purpose-driven activities.
She is the Founder of We Are All Human Foundation, a New York-based non-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing Diversity, Inclusion and Equity with a particular approach of the Hispanic community in Corporate America.
A former diplomat and journalist, Claudia is an expert on ESG, particularly in mobilizing corporations to advance the Social Agenda with focus on DEI. Her career includes decades working for the United Nations, UNICEF, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). She has worked for the World Economic Forum and has participated in the creation and launch of global frameworks such as the Sustainable Development Goals and Product (RED).
Claudia holds degrees in Communications, Philosophy and Photography from Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico, as well as a Master’s Degree in Political Communications from the London School of Economics. She is also the recipient of numerous awards, including the Ellis Island Medal of Honor, has been listed as one of Most Powerful Latinas for three consecutive years by the Association of Latino Professionals For America, as well as People magazine's 25 Most Powerful Latinas in 2020. She has two children, enjoys sports with her husband, and speaks six languages.
Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer, BBDO Worldwide
An Afro-Latino native New Yorker, Jason Rosario has spent most of his life breaking down barriers and building up inclusive cultures. He is passionate about innovation and the power of creativity to drive change.
Jason is Global Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer and sits on the BBDO Worldwide Board of Directors. In this role, he impacts agency diversity policy, influences the agency’s creative to ensure it reflects inclusive principles, and counsels clients on inclusive marketing best practices. As part of the OPEN Leadership team, he partners with other Omnicom agencies to help execute the holding company’s diversity and inclusion strategy.
Jason is an expert at helping brands identify and implement inclusive practices at the enterprise level, having worked with top clients including Netflix, Yahoo!, Spotify, and Huffington Post. Prior to joining BBDO, Jason worked for Verizon Media Group as Manager of Global Diversity & Inclusion and was the Executive Producer and Host of the Yahoo! News original web series “Dear Men.”
In 2017, he founded The Lives of Men, a social impact creative agency that explores themes around masculinity, mental health and culture. And in 2022 was recognized by ADCOLOR as the first ever DE&I Executive of the Year. He is a MBA graduate of NYU’s Stern School of Business and sits on the board of Made of Millions, a non-profit organization changing the negative stigmas around mental health.
Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer
Sara Baiyu Porritt is the Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at Omnicom Media Group responsible for putting rigor behind the shared Omnicom mission of attaining equal representation, development, support, and retention of all underrepresented groups. Expanding her advocacy beyond the walls of OMG, Sara is on the board of the 4A’s Foundation supporting diversity, equity and inclusion in the industry. In her spare time, Sara is dedicated to capturing and sharing stories of those who have also traversed the road not taken, and is the host and creator of Hear Us Roar—a podcast featuring inspired conversations with fearless Asian women about how ideas and passions can ignite transformative journeys.

According to a report released by UnidosUS this summer, “in August 2021, 17.2% of Latino adults 18 years and older who had household members planning to take postsecondary classes in Fall 2021 reported canceling their plans at a higher rate than White adults (14.5%).” One of the top reasons for these changes included financial challenges.
